LandAirSea Systems $1.3 Million 'Made in USA' Settlement

Customers who purchased one or more LandAirSea Systems products from the company’s website or from Amazon between Jan. 12, 2018, and Jan. 12, 2022, may be eligible to claim up to $45 per product from a class action settlement.

LandAirSea Systems Inc. agreed to pay $1.3 million to settle a class action lawsuit alleging it falsely advertised its products as “made in the USA” or “manufactured in the USA.”

Who can file a claim?

Class members must meet all of the following criteria:

• They are a person in the United States.
• They purchased one or more LandAirSea Systems products.
• They purchased the product(s) from either the LandAirSea Systems website or Amazon.
• They purchase the product(s) between Jan. 12, 2018, and Jan. 12, 2022.

Those who received a notice about this settlement by email are likely eligible. However, even those who did not receive a notice may still qualify if they meet the above criteria.

How much is the LandAirSea Systems payout?

The total settlement fund is $1,300,000. Each eligible class member can receive a pro rata share of the net settlement fund up to a maximum of $45 for each qualifying LandAirSea Systems product they purchased between Jan. 12, 2018, and Jan. 12, 2022.

Those who purchased more than one qualifying product may claim up to $45 for each product; however, payments are subject to pro rata reduction if the total amount claimed exceeds the net settlement fund after deductions for fees, costs and awards.

If there are any funds remaining after all payments and costs (for example, from uncashed checks), the settlement administrator will distribute them to a court-approved organization under the cy pres doctrine.

How to claim a class action rebate

Class members can file the online claim form or download, print, complete and mail the PDF claim form to the settlement administrator. The claim deadline is March 4, 2026.
