
Individuals who used a credit or debit card to pay for parking at the main parking garage or any surface lot (economy, short-term or long -term) at Dayton International Airport between Oct. 14, 2014, and Oct. 14, 2016, and received an electronically printed paper receipt may be eligible to claim a voucher worth up to $23 from a class action settlement.
SP Plus Corp. agreed to settle a class action lawsuit alleging it printed the expiration dates of credit and debit cards on electronically printed paper receipts at Dayton International Airport, which plaintiffs claimed violated the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act.
Who can file a claim?
Class members must meet all of the following criteria:
- They paid for parking at the main parking garage or any surface lot (economy, short-term or long-term) at Dayton International Airport.
- They used a credit or debit card for payment.
- They received an electronically printed paper receipt at the time of payment.
- The transaction occurred between Oct. 14, 2014, and Oct. 14, 2016.
Eligible claimants members can only receive one voucher regardless of the number of qualifying transactions.
How much can class members get?
Each eligible class member who submits a valid claim will receive a voucher worth up to $23 to use for parking at Dayton International Airport. The vouchers are subject to the following restrictions:
- Class members can redeem them at Dayton International Airport parking exit stations for 90 days from the date of issuance
- Vouchers are single-use, nontransferable and nonrefundable.
- Vouchers cannot be combined with other discounts or vouchers.
- Vouchers are not redeemable for cash or gift cards.
How to claim a Dayton International Airport voucher
Class members can file a claim online using the online claim form. There is no PDF claim form available for download. The claim deadline is July 15, 2026. Claims submitted after this date will not be considered.
Required information
Claimants must provide their contact information, as well as the make and model of the vehicle they parked at Dayton International Airport during the class period.

The settlement administrator will distribute vouchers after the court resolves any appeals and grants final approval to the settlement.
Why is there a class action settlement?
The class action lawsuit alleged SP Plus LLC electronically printed the expiration dates of credit and debit cards on paper receipts at Dayton International Airport in violation of the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act. The plaintiffs claimed this practice exposed consumers to potential identity theft and violated federal law.
SP Plus LLC denies any wrongdoing or liability but agreed to settle to avoid the cost and uncertainty of continued litigation.
