What Happened?
On Sept. 10, 2025, ScrogginsGrear discovered suspicious activity in its email system. After a thorough investigation, the company determined that an unauthorized third party had gained access to a single employee’s email account.
The breach exposed sensitive information belonging to 8,919 individuals in the United States, including four in Maine.
Written notifications were sent to affected individuals on April 7, 2026, and the company offered 12 months of complimentary credit monitoring through TransUnion.
