The February 2025 Data Breach

On Feb. 6, 2025, Saint Anthony Hospital discovered that an unauthorized party may have accessed a limited number of employee email accounts. The hospital immediately began investigating with the help of third-party cybersecurity professionals and notified law enforcement.

The breach was disclosed to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services on Sept. 12, 2025, revealing that both personally identifiable information (PII) and personal health information (PHI) of at least 6,679 patients and employees had been exposed in the incident.
