What Happened?

On Feb. 6, 2025, Saint Anthony Hospital discovered that an unauthorized party may have accessed a limited number of employee email accounts. The hospital began investigating with the help of third-party cybersecurity professionals and notified law enforcement.

The breach was disclosed initially to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services on Sept. 12, 2025, revealing that both personally identifiable information (PII) and personal health information (PHI) of 6,679 individuals had been exposed in the incident.

An additional disclosure was filed with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services in April 2026 to reflect 146,108 total individuals impacted.
