The company focuses on supporting companies that have outgrown basic bookkeeping but are not yet ready for a full in-house finance team. Propeller Industries offers a broad range of services, including CFO-level strategic planning, day-to-day accounting, financial reporting and transaction advisory.

What happened?

Between April 27 and July 4, 2025, a cyberattack occurred involving Propeller Industries' service provider, Consero Global Solutions. On or around July 4, 2025, Consero detected an encryption event across its network. An investigation revealed that a threat actor gained access to sensitive information belonging to multiple Consero clients during this period.

Propeller Industries was notified by Consero about the incident on or around Sept. 25, 2025. As of this writing, the breach has impacted at least 35 residents in New Hampshire and 15 in Montana. However, the investigation is ongoing and the number of impacted individuals is subject to change.

The data breach was also disclosed to the New Hampshire and Montana Attorney Generals' offices on Nov. 14, 2025. Propeller began notifying affected individuals by mail on Oct. 23, 2025.
