What Happened?
Mobilelink experienced a data breach that came to light after the ransomware group DragonForce claimed responsibility for the attack. On Dec. 2, 2025, DragonForce posted on the Tor network, stating they had obtained 5.04 TB of Mobilelink’s data and intended to publish it within a week.
40,174 total individuals were affected, including 12,201 people in Texas, 1,180 in Indiana, 18 in Massachusetts, and three in New Hampshire. The company notified impacted individuals by U.S. mail.
