What Happened?

Mobilelink experienced a data breach that came to light after the ransomware group DragonForce claimed responsibility for the attack. On Dec. 2, 2025, DragonForce posted on the Tor network, stating they had obtained 5.04 TB of Mobilelink’s data and intended to publish it within a week.

The breach was officially disclosed to the Texas Attorney General on March 30, 2026. According to the disclosure, 12,201 people in Texas were affected. The company notified impacted individuals by U.S. mail.
