What happened?
Meritage Hospitality Group experienced a cyberattack on July 8, 2025. The company began mailing data breach notices to affected individuals on Nov. 3, 2025. The total number of affected current and former employees has not been publicly disclosed.
The cybersecurity incident was disclosed to the Massachusetts Attorney General on Nov. 7, 2025, reporting names and Social Security numbers compromised.
