What Happened?

On Jan. 13, 2026, Health Gorilla notified its health information exchange partners of a potential unauthorized disclosure of health information.

The company reported that health information may have been accessed for treatment purposes. However, the health information exchange (HIE) involved has not been able to confirm whether Health Gorilla’s statements or the recipient companies’ authorizations were valid.
