What Happened?

On or around Nov. 26, 2025, Advanced Family Surgery Center became aware of a network intrusion that impacted a limited number of systems. The company responded by securing its network and hiring a third-party forensic team to investigate.

The investigation determined that certain protected health information may have been subject to unauthorized access.

It was later revealed that the GENESIS ransomware group claimed responsibility for the attack and posted about it on the dark web on Jan. 11, 2026, stating they had obtained approximately 100 GB of data.
