Sellmark Corp. experienced a major data breach. The company discovered that an unauthorized actor accessed its internal network between March 10, 2025, and April 14, 2025, and obtained files containing sensitive information. A review took place and on Aug. 14, 2025 it was determined that the compromised data contained personally identifiable information (PII).
Exposed information includes names, Social Security numbers, driver's license or government ID numbers and financial account information. The total number of impacted individuals has not been released, but is believed to be in the thousands.
Sellmark reported the data breach to the New Hampshire, Texas and Maine Attorney Generals' offices on Sept. 11, 2025. Affected individuals includes 1,205 in Texas, four New Hampshire residents and one in Maine. The company has also began notifying impacted individuals by mail.
In response to the incident, Sellmark Corp. took action to secure its systems and notified law enforcement. The company is offering affected individuals 12 free months of Experian IdentityWorks identity monitoring services.
