Parlay Mortgage & Property, Inc., a residential mortgage brokerage based in Illinois, experienced a data breach that affected consumer information. The company began notifying affected individuals by mail in Oct. 2025.

This type of cybersecurity incident often compromises sensitive customer and applicant personal and financial information. Exposed information may include names, contact information, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, driver's license copies, employment information, tax return copies, financial account information and payment card numbers.

The incident was disclosed to the Massachusetts Attorney General’s office on Oct. 9, 2025. This type of data breach puts individuals at risk for identity theft and financial fraud. The total number of impacted Parlay Mortgage & Property customers and applicants has not been released.

Parlay Mortgage & Property, Inc's response

In addition to required state and federal disclosures, the mortgage company is offering impacted individuals two free years of Epiq Privacy Solutions ID identity monitoring services. PMP has also set up a dedicated assistance line for questions at 855-291-2697 Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Eastern Time.
