Allied Services Division Welfare Fund experienced a major data breach. On or about Nov. 25, 2024, the organization learned that a cybercriminal may have gained access to an employee’s email account. An investigation revealed that the unauthorized access likely occurred between Oct. 9, 2024, and Nov. 26, 2024.
On June 30, 2025, Allied Division Welfare Fund determined that personal data may have been compromised due to the cybersecurity incident. The data breach was disclosed to the California Attorney General's office on July 30, 2025.
The breach potentially exposed both personally identifiable information (PII) or protected health information (PHI). Exposed information could include names, addresses, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, medical records and health insurance details. The total number of affected individuals has not yet been released.
