Why was there a class action settlement?

The class action lawsuit alleged that Posh Group Inc. charged California residents fees for event tickets that were not included in the advertised price, which the plaintiff argued was misleading and in violation of California State consumer protection laws.

Posh Group denies the allegations, but agreed to settle to avoid the expense and risk of continued litigation and a possible trial.
