Maxar Space Data Breach Class Action Settlement

Individuals who received a notice stating a data breach involving Maxar Space may have exposed their personal information could be eligible to claim up to $3,500 plus three years of credit monitoring and a California residency payment from a class action settlement.

Maxar Space LLC and Maxar Space Robotics LLC agreed to settle a class action lawsuit alleging they failed to adequately protect personal information during a cyberattack in October 2024. The lawsuit claims unauthorized parties accessed files containing sensitive data, including names, Social Security numbers, addresses, gender, employment and business contact information.

Who can file a claim?

The class includes all living persons residing in the United States whose personally identifiable information the Maxar data incident potentially compromised. This includes anyone who received a data breach notice letter.

How much can class members get?
