
Employment seekers who applied for a job with Gosiger Machine Tools LLC in Washington state between Jan. 1, 2023, and Aug. 17, 2026, may be eligible to receive an estimated $1,841.27 from a class action settlement.
Gosiger Machine Tools LLC agreed to pay $241,500 to resolve a class action lawsuit alleging its job postings in Washington state did not disclose wage scales, salary ranges or a general description of benefits and other compensation as required by state law.
Who are the class members?
Class members must meet all of the following criteria:
- They applied for a job opening with Gosiger Machine Tools LLC in the state of Washington.
- They submitted the application between Jan. 1, 2023, and Aug. 17, 2026.
- The job posting they responded to did not include a wage scale or salary range and/or did not provide a general description of benefits and other compensation to be offered to a hired applicant.
How much is the class action payment?
The total settlement fund is $241,500. After deducting attorneys’ fees and expenses, a service award to the lead plaintiff and settlement administration costs, the settlement administrator will distribute the remaining amount equally among all class members.
The estimated payment per class member is $1,841.27, which the administrator will report as nonwage damages on a 1099 tax form.
No action needed to receive compensation
Individuals who received a notice about this settlement do not need to submit a claim form to receive their payment. The settlement administrator will automatically send their payment unless they choose to opt out.
If a class member's contact information has changed, they should update their address with the settlement administrator to ensure they receive payment. Using the same link, they can also select a digital payment option. To do complete either task online, class members must provide the login ID and PIN from the settlement notice they received. Otherwise, they can contact the settlement administrator via mail, phone or email. Those who do not select a digital payment will receive a paper check mailed to their last known address.
The deadline to select a digital payment or update an address is Oct. 26, 2026.

$241,500 settlement fund breakdown
The $241,500 settlement fund will cover:
- Settlement administration costs: Up to $15,500
- Attorneys' fees: $80,500
- Attorneys' expenses: Up to $15,000
- Service award to class representative: $15,000
- Payments to eligible class members: Remainder of the fund
The settlement administrator will send any funds class members do not claim within 180 days to the state of Washington as unclaimed property and any residual funds to the Legal Foundation of Washington.
