CVS Pharmacy $20.5M Digital Privacy Class Action Settlement

Individuals who accessed CVS digital properties in the United States before July 27, 2026, may qualify to submit a claim for up to $10 from a class action settlement.

CVS Pharmacy Inc. agreed to pay up to $20.5 million to settle a class action lawsuit alleging it improperly disclosed users’ data, including health, personal and browsing information, to Criteo Corp. and other technology providers through embedded technology on CVS digital platforms.

Who can file a claim for a CVS Pharmacy privacy payout?

Class members are individuals who accessed any CVS digital property in the United States prior to July 27, 2026. This includes, but is not limited to, the CVS website, CVSHealth.com, and the CVS app.

How much are settlement payments?

The following cash payment benefits are available:

• With documentation: Class members who provide proof of membership in the settlement class can submit a claim to receive a cash payment of up to $10. The settlement administrator will determine the final payment amount by the total number of claims filed.
• Without documentation: Class members without proof of membership in the settlement class can submit a claim to receive a cash payment of up to $5. The settlement administrator will determine the final payment amount by the total number of claims filed.

The settlement allows only one claim per household regardless of how many individuals in the household accessed CVS digital properties.

How to claim a class action rebate

To receive a settlement payment, class members can file a claim online or print and complete the PDF claim form and mail or email it to the settlement administrator.

Required proof and claim information

• To submit a claim online, class members must provide the login ID and PIN from the settlement notice they received.
• To submit a $10 claim, class members must provide proof of class membership. This may include screenshots of browser history, screenshots showing access to a CVS website or app, or email receipts of online purchases demonstrating access before July 27, 2026.

Settlement fund breakdown

The settlement fund of up to $20,500,000 will include:

• Payments to eligible claimants: Remaining settlement funds

When is the CVS digital privacy settlement payout date?
