
Individuals in the United States who had a FitOn account and accessed any FitOn video platform to watch a prerecorded video between Oct. 22, 2022, and May 29, 2026, may qualify to submit a claim for up to $10 from a class action settlement.
FitOn Inc. agreed to pay $2.5 million to settle a class action lawsuit alleging it disclosed subscribers’ personally identifiable information to third parties without consent in violation of the Video Privacy Protection Act.
Who can file a claim for a VPPA settlement payout?
Class members must meet the following criteria:
- They reside in the United States and had one or more accounts with a FitOn video platform.
- They accessed at least one video between Oct. 22, 2022, and May 29, 2026.
How much are settlement payments?
Pro rata cash payment: Class members can submit a claim to receive a pro rata cash payment of up to $10. The settlement administrator will determine the final payment amount by the total number of claims filed.
How to claim a class action rebate
To receive a settlement payment, class members can file a claim online or print the PDF claim form to complete and mail to the settlement administrator.

Settlement fund breakdown
The $2,500,000 settlement fund will include:
- Settlement administration costs: To be determined
- Attorneys' fees and costs: Up to $833,333.33
- Service awards to class representatives: Up to $3,500 each for three representatives ($10,500 total)
- Payments to claimants: Remaining settlement funds

When is the FitOn VPPA settlement payout date?
The settlement administrator will issue payments to approved class members approximately 75 days after the court grants final approval of the settlement.
Why is there a class action settlement?
The class action lawsuit alleged FitOn Inc. violated the Video Privacy Protection Act by sharing subscribers’ personally identifiable information with third parties without consent.
FitOn denies the allegations but agreed to settle to avoid the risk and expense of further litigation and a possible trial.
