Why is there a class action settlement?
The class action settlement claimed Delta Defense LLC and United States Concealed Carry Association Inc. violated the Video Privacy Protection Act by collecting and sharing subscribers’ video viewing information with third parties without consent using technologies such as the Meta Pixel.
The defendants deny any wrongdoing but agreed to settle to avoid the expense, inconvenience and uncertainty of further litigation. The court has not made a determination on the merits of the claims.
