  1. Enroll in Credit Monitoring: siParadigm has provided complimentary credit monitoring services. Enroll within 90 days of receiving the notification to take advantage of this offer.
  2. Monitor Your Accounts: Regularly review your financial statements and credit reports for any unauthorized activity. Report any suspicious transactions to your financial institution immediately.
  3. Place a Fraud Alert: Contact the major credit bureaus (Equifax, TransUnion, Experian) to place a fraud alert on your credit file. This will notify creditors to take extra steps to verify your identity before opening new accounts.
  4. Consider a Security Freeze: A security freeze prevents new creditors from accessing your credit report, making it more difficult for identity thieves to open accounts in your name.
  5. Implement an IRS Identity Protection PIN: Protect your tax returns by obtaining an IP PIN from the IRS, which adds an extra layer of security.
