What Happened?

On or about Feb. 26, 2025, Rockhill Women's Care discovered a network security incident impacting its IT systems. The organization immediately engaged third-party cybersecurity experts to assess, contain and remediate the situation, and law enforcement was notified. A data mining vendor was brought in to identify potentially affected individuals, with the review concluding Aug. 13, 2025.

On March 4, 2025, the Qilin ransomware group claimed responsibility for the attack. They stated they had obtained 20 GB of the organization's data and threatened to release it on the dark web.
