The company develops and underwrites specialty insurance programs for a variety of industries, including construction, hospitality, transportation and entertainment.

ISC uses advanced data analytics, proprietary technology and artificial intelligence to streamline underwriting and operations. The company partners with insurance carriers and brokers to build customized insurance products, focusing on commercial property, general liability, workers’ compensation, cyber liability and more.

What happened

Integrated Specialty Coverages experienced a major data breach affected over 90,000 individuals. According to the company, an unauthorized actor accessed a portion of ISC’s environment between Feb. 16 and Feb. 19, 2025.

The cybersecurity incident compromised both personally identifiable information (PII) and protected health information (PHI). ISC began notifying affected individuals on June 18, 2025.

  • Date of birth
  • Social Security number
  • Driver’s license number
  • Government-issued ID number, including passport or state ID)
  • Biometric data, fingerprint image or similar
  • Medical information provided for insurance applications or claims
  • Financial information such as account number

The breach affected at least 90,021 people in Texas alone. Integrated Specialty Coverages reported the breach to the California Attorney General’s office on July 2, 2025, and to the Texas Attorney General’s office on July 3, 2025.
