What Happened?

Corient Services discovered a data security incident involving one of its employees.

In late April 2026, it was determined that on or around March 30, 2026, a Corient employee emailed personal and employment information of other employees to their own personal devices and email accounts, outside of Corient’s secure environment.

The company took steps to secure its systems, revoked the employee’s access, and worked with forensic experts to remove all Corient data from the employee’s personal devices and accounts.

  • Social Security numbers
  • Employee IDs
  • Hire dates
  • Compensation information

The number of affected individuals includes 251 in Texas, 78 in Massachusetts, and two in New Hampshire.
