What Happened?
On or about Oct. 13, 2025, Blue Teal Holdings experienced unauthorized access to certain systems in its environment. The company began an investigation with the help of external cybersecurity experts and conducted a manual review of the impacted files.
On May 11, 2026, Blue Teal Holdings determined that some of the accessed files contained protected personal information connected to individuals with a relationship to Blue Teal Holdings or its affiliates and subsidiaries.
The breach affected at least 9,648 people in Texas, 36 in Massachusetts and 8 in Maine. The total number of affected individuals in the United States is still being determined. Blue Teal began sending notifications to affected individuals on May 28, 2026.
