What Happened?

Austin Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery discovered a data breach on Feb. 28, 2026, after unauthorized access was detected in their network. The incident occurred between June 30, 2025, and July 1, 2025. The hackers, known as ThreeAM, used ransomware and later posted about the breach on the tor network on Aug. 10, 2025.

After a thorough investigation, it was determined that a limited number of files were accessed or acquired without authorization.

The company began notifying affected individuals on March 11, 2026. So far, 4,041 Texans were affected.
