What happened?
In September 2025, Anchorage Neighborhood Health Center announced it had experienced a major cyberattack. According to the center, the breach was recently discovered, and occurred when an unauthorized actor gained access to its network.
An anonymous ransomware group has claimed responsibility for the data breach, claiming to have hacked over 10,000 files containing patient records of as many as 60,000 individuals. ANHC has not yet confirmed the total number of impacted patients or the exact information involved.
