Individuals who spent money to play Pulsz or Pulszbingo while physically located in Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, New Jersey or Massachusetts during specific periods may be eligible to claim a portion of their spending back from a class action settlement.

Yellow Social Interactive agreed to pay an estimated $14,000,000 to settle a class action lawsuit alleging violations of state gambling laws related to its sale of virtual chips in the social casino-style games Pulsz and Pulszbingo.

Who are the class members?

Class members are individuals who spent money to play Pulsz or Pulszbingo while physically present in one of the following states during the specified time frames:

  • Alabama: March 8, 2022, through Aug. 31, 2026
  • Ohio: Feb. 19, 2024, through Aug. 31, 2026
  • New Jersey: Feb. 19, 2024, through Aug. 31, 2026
  • Massachusetts: Feb. 19, 2024, through Aug. 31, 2026
  • Tennessee: Nov. 12, 2022, through Aug. 31, 2026
  • Kentucky: June 29, 2023, through Aug. 31, 2026

How much can class members get?

The settlement provides two main options for compensation, calculated as a percentage of the total amount spent on Pulsz or Pulszbingo. Class members may choose one of the following:

  • Virtual currency (gold coins): 27% of total eligible spending distributed as gold coins at a rate of 10,000 gold coins per dollar and distributed in installments over either two years or five years, depending on the amount owed
  • Cash payment: 23% of total eligible spending. If cash requests exceed 25% of the estimated total benefit, the settlement administrator will reduce individual cash payments proportionally and pay the remainder as virtual currency.

How to claim a settlement payout

  • Class members who wish to receive their compensation as virtual currency do not need to take any action; they will automatically receive gold coins if they do nothing.
  • To receive a cash payment instead of virtual currency, class members must submit an online election form or print and complete the PDF election form and mail it to the settlement administrator.
