Read the instructions carefully, fill out the Claim Form, and ensure it is either submitted online by June 24, 2024, or postmarked by June 24, 2024.

Make sure to provide all necessary information and proof of purchase if applicable. The Settlement Administrator may verify your claim. A maximum of one claim, submitted on a single Claim Form, may be submitted by each household.

$5,000,000 Settlement Fund

The settlement amount is $5,000,000. This amount will be used to provide compensation to eligible claimants, cover the Service Awards for Class Representatives, and pay the Fee Award for Class Counsel.

If the total value of all Approved Claims plus the Service Awards, the Fee Award, payment of Settlement Administration Expenses, any federal, state, and/or local taxes, and any other fees, costs, or expenses exceed the Settlement amount, the benefits payable to the Claimants shall be reduced pro rata so that the total value does not exceed the Settlement Fund.

Why is There a Class Action Settlement?

The Class Representatives filed a lawsuit against Young Living on behalf of themselves and all others similarly situated. The lawsuit alleges that Young Living engaged in unlawful and deceptive conduct in the marketing, sale, and delivery of its essential oil products. Young Living denies any wrongdoing or liability but has agreed to settle the lawsuit to avoid the uncertainties, expenses, and resources associated with ongoing litigation.

The Court has preliminarily approved the Settlement and will hold a Final Approval Hearing on July 15, 2024, to determine whether the Settlement should be approved as fair, reasonable, and adequate. If the Court approves the Settlement, and there are no appeals, eligible claimants should receive their payments within two to three months.
