Why is There a Class Action Settlement?

The Class Representatives filed a lawsuit against Young Living on behalf of themselves and all others similarly situated. The lawsuit alleges that Young Living engaged in unlawful and deceptive conduct in the marketing, sale, and delivery of its essential oil products. Young Living denies any wrongdoing or liability but has agreed to settle the lawsuit to avoid the uncertainties, expenses, and resources associated with ongoing litigation.

The Court has preliminarily approved the Settlement and will hold a Final Approval Hearing on July 15, 2024, to determine whether the Settlement should be approved as fair, reasonable, and adequate. If the Court approves the Settlement, and there are no appeals, eligible claimants should receive their payments within two to three months.
