Individuals who subscribed to Willow TV and watched prerecorded videos on Willow.tv between July 20, 2021, and Sept. 22, 2023, may be eligible to submit a claim for a cash payment from a class action settlement.
Times Internet (UK) Ltd., d/b/a Willow TV, agreed to pay $850,000 to settle a class action lawsuit alleging violations of the Video Privacy Protection Act and California state law. The lawsuit claims that the company unlawfully shared or made accessible personally identifiable information (PII) of Willow TV subscribers without their consent.
Who can file a claim for a VPPA payout?
Class members are individuals who subscribed to Willow TV and watched prerecorded videos on Willow.tv at any time between July 20, 2021 and Sept. 22, 2023.
How much are settlement payments?
Cash payment: Class members can submit a claim to receive a cash payment from the net settlement fund. The settlement administrator will determine the final payment amount by the total number of claims filed.
How to claim a class action rebate
To receive a settlement payment, class members can file a claim online or print the PDF claim form to complete and mail to the settlement administrator.

Settlement fund breakdown

When is the Willow TV VPPA settlement payout date?
