
Individuals who lived in the United States and whose personal information the May 2024 data breach involving Storr Office Environments Inc. potentially compromised may be eligible to claim up to $825 and/or credit monitoring from a class action settlement.
Storr Office Environments Inc. agreed to resolve a class action lawsuit alleging it failed to adequately protect personal information, resulting in a data breach affecting current and former employees and others.
Who can file a claim?
The settlement class includes:
- All individuals residing in the United States whose personal information the data incident Storr discovered in May 2024 potentially compromised.
- Anyone who received a notice of the breach from Storr.
The class primarily includes current and former employees but may also include others.
How much can class members receive?
There are several available benefits:
- Out-of-pocket loss reimbursement: Up to $750 per class member for documented out-of-pocket expenses resulting from the data incident. Eligible expenses include costs for fraud or identity protection, professional fees, costs for credit repair services and other related expenses as long as the class member incurred them between May 1, 2024, and May 11, 2026. Class members must provide third-party documentation, such as receipts or bills.
- Lost time reimbursement: Up to three hours of lost time at $25 per hour (maximum $75) for time spent responding to the data incident. Claimants must attest under penalty of perjury that they spent the time addressing issues related to the breach.
- Alternative cash payment: A $40 payment as an alternative to claiming any other benefit
- Credit monitoring: One year of single-bureau credit monitoring with at least $1,000,000 in identity theft protection insurance. Claimants cannot receive both the alternative cash payment and credit monitoring.
There is a $300,000 aggregate cap for all settlement benefits. If the total amount of approved claims exceeds this cap, the settlement administrator will reduce payments on a pro rata basis.
How to claim a Storr Office Environments payout
Class members can complete the online claim form or download and print the PDF claim form, fill it out and mail it to the settlement administrator. The claim deadline is May 11, 2026.

What proof or documentation is necessary to submit a claim?
- All claimants must provide the claim number and PIN from the settlement postcard they received in the mail to file a claim.

- To file a claim for lost time, the alternative cash payment or credit monitoring, class members must select the appropriate option on the claim form.

When is the Storr data break settlement payout date?

Why iss there a class action settlement?
The class action lawsuit alleged a cyberattack on Storr’s computer network in May 2024 exposed the personal information of current and former employees and others. The plaintiff claimed the company failed to adequately protect this information.
Storr denies any wrongdoing but agreed to settle to avoid the uncertainty, risks and expense of ongoing litigation.
