Individuals who applied for a crew member or lead position with Sizzling Platter LLC in Washington state between Jan. 1, 2023, and July 26, 2025, may be eligible to submit a claim for an payment estimated to be between $613.71 and $5,000 from a class action settlement.
Sizzling Platter agreed to pay $634,472.50 to $937,650 to settle a class action lawsuit alleging the company failed to include required pay transparency information, such as wage scales, salary ranges or general descriptions of benefits and other compensation, in its Washington job postings.

Class members are individuals who submitted an application for a crew member or lead job opening with Sizzling Platter in Washington between Jan. 1, 2023, and July 26, 2025, and the posting did not disclose the wage scale or salary range, or a general description of benefits and other compensation.
How much is the Sizzling Platter payout?
Eligible class members who submit a valid claim will receive an equal share of the net settlement fund. The estimated minimum payment is $613.71 per person, but the actual amount depends on the number of valid claims submitted. The settlement administrator has identified approximately 987 eligible class members.
- If 50% or fewer of the identified class members submit valid claims (493 or fewer claimants), the administrator will distribute the minimum settlement fund of $634,472.50 equally among those claimants up to a maximum of $5,000 per person.
- For every additional claimant above 50% participation, Sizzling Platter will increase the settlement fund by $613.71 per claimant up to a maximum total fund of $937,650.
How to claim a settlement payment
To receive a payment, eligible class members must submit an online claim form or complete the claim form they received with their settlement notice and mail it to the settlement administrator.

Required documentation
To submit a claim online, class members must provide the login ID and PIN from the settlement notice they received.
Payout options
The settlement administrator will mail checks to the address class members provided on the claim form. Class members must cash their checks within 120 days of issuance.
The settlement administrator will donate any unclaimed or leftover funds to the Legal Foundation of Washington.

- Settlement administration costs: Up to $15,000
- Attorneys’ fees: Up to $281,295
- Attorneys’ expenses: Up to $15,000
- Service awards to class representatives: $10,000 each ($20,000 total)
