Current and former patients who received health care from The Polyclinic between Jan. 1, 2021, and Sept. 30, 2025, and requested an accommodation for a hearing, vision or speech disability may qualify to submit a claim for a cash payment from a class action settlement.
The Polyclinic PLLC agreed to pay $350,000 to settle a lawsuit alleging it failed to provide qualified interpreters and other auxiliary aids to patients with hearing, vision and/or speech disabilities as required by the Americans with Disabilities Act. A U.S. Department of Justice investigation determined the health care organization did not provide necessary services.

The settlement resolves claims that The Polyclinic failed to provide qualified interpreters and other auxiliary aids for patients with hearing, vision and/or speech disabilities as required by the ADA. The DOJ investigated complaints stating the company denied patients effective communication during medical appointments.
The Polyclinic denies the allegations but agreed to settle to avoid further litigation, and as part of the settlement, agreed to enhance its communication accommodations and policies.
