How much will settlement payments be?
Class members have the following benefit options:
- Expense reimbursement: Class members can claim up to $3,000 in documented, unreimbursed out-of-pocket losses directly resulting from the data breach. Eligible expenses include costs to obtain credit reports, credit freezing/unfreezing fees, card replacement fees, late and over-limit fees, interest and fees on payday loans obtained as a result of the breach, postage for contacting financial institutions and some credit monitoring and identity theft insurance costs.
- Alternative cash payment: Class members who do not submit an expense reimbursement claim can submit a claim to receive a cash payment estimated at $50. The settlement administrator will determine the final payment amount by the number of valid claims filed.
- Credit monitoring: All class members can elect to receive two years of one-bureau credit monitoring services.
