Mejuri $950,000 Washington Job Applicant Settlement

Individuals who applied for a job in Washington state with Mejuri (US) Inc., Mejuri (US) Holdings Inc. or Mejuri Bricks (US) LLC between Jan. 1, 2023, and Jan. 30, 2026, may be eligible to claim a cash payment from a class action settlement.

Mejuri (US) Inc. agreed to pay $950,000 to settle a class action lawsuit alleging it failed to include required wage scales or salary ranges in job postings for positions in Washington state in violation of state law.

Who are the class members?

Class members must meet all of the following criteria:

  • They applied for at least one job opening in the state of Washington with Mejuri (US) Inc., Mejuri (US) Holdings Inc. or Mejuri Bricks (US) LLC.
  • They submitted their application between Jan. 1, 2023, and Jan. 30, 2026.
  • The job posting they responded to did not disclose the wage scale or salary range for the position as required by Washington law

Mejuri need not have hired or employed the class member for them to qualify.

How much can class members get?

Pro rata payment: The total fund available for class member payments is the $950,000 gross settlement amount minus attorneys’ fees, costs, a service award for the class representative and settlement administration expenses. All eligible class members who do not opt out will receive an equal share of the net settlement fund.

The settlement administrator considers payments nonwage damages and will report them on IRS Form 1099.

No action needed to receive payment

Class members do not need to submit a claim form to receive their payment. The settlement administrator will use existing records to determine eligibility and payment amounts. Those who are eligible and do not opt out will automatically receive a settlement payment by mail. Class members can update their address by contacting the settlement administrator by phone, email or mail.
