
Consumers who used the Ideal Image website, idealimage.com, to schedule a consultation for services between Jan. 1, 2023, and Jan. 26, 2026, may be eligible to submit a claim for up to $17 from a class action settlement.
Ideal Image Development Corp. agreed to pay $3.5 million to settle a class action lawsuit alleging it shared users’ personally identifiable information with Facebook through tracking technologies without consent and in violation of state and federal privacy laws.
Who can file a claim for a privacy violation payout?
Class members must meet the following criteria:
- They reside in the United States.
- They used www.idealimage.com to schedule a consultation for services between Jan. 1, 2023, and Jan. 26, 2026.
- Ideal Image shared their personally identifiable information with a third party without their consent.
How much is the settlement payment?
Pro rata cash payment: Class members can submit a claim to receive a pro rata cash payment of up to $17. The settlement administrator will determine the final payment amount by the total number of valid claims.
How to claim a class action rebate
To receive a settlement payment, class members can file a claim online or print the PDF claim form to complete and mail to the settlement administrator.

When is the Ideal Image settlement payout date?

Why did this class action settlement happen?
The class action lawsuit alleged Ideal Image Development Corp. shared users’ personally identifiable information with Facebook through tracking technologies on its website without user consent. The plaintiff claimed this violated the Florida Security of Communications Act, the California Invasion of Privacy Act and the Electronic Communications Privacy Act.
The company denies any wrongdoing but agreed to settle to avoid the expense and uncertainty involved with continued litigation.
