Compucom Systems $1M Washington Job Applicant Settlement

Employment seekers who applied for a job with Compucom Systems Inc. in Washington state between Jan. 1, 2023, and Sept. 16, 2026, in which the job posting did not include a wage scale, salary range or a general description of benefits and other compensation, may be eligible to claim approximately $266.67 from a class action settlement.

Compucom Systems Inc. agreed to pay $1 million to settle a class action lawsuit. The lawsuit alleges Compucom violated Washington law by failing to include required pay and benefits information in job postings for positions in the state.

Who are the class members?

Class members meet all of the following criteria:

  • They applied for at least one job opening in the state of Washington with Compucom Systems Inc.
  • They submitted their application between Jan. 1, 2023, and Sept. 16, 2026 (the date of preliminary approval).
  • The job posting for the position they applied for did not include a wage scale or salary range.
  • The job posting did not provide a general description of all benefits and other compensation offered to the hired applicant.

The settlement administrator identified 2,626 individuals who meet these criteria. If an individual received a notice about this settlement, Compucom's records show they are eligible.

How much is the Compucom payout?

The total settlement fund is $1,000,000. From this, the settlement administrator will deduct attorneys' fees and costs, a service award to the class representative and administrative expenses. It will divide the remaining amount equally among all class members who do not opt out. The estimated payment per person is $266.67.

If any funds remain unclaimed after 180 days, the settlement administrator will send them to the state of Washington as unclaimed property. It will send any residual funds after all payments and expenses to the Legal Foundation of Washington.

Class members do not need to file a claim and will automatically receive their settlement payment. However, they can confirm the settlement administrator has their current mailing address or update their payment preference online using the login ID and PIN provided in their notice or by mailing or emailing the settlement administrator.
