Individuals who applied for a job with Axon Enterprise Inc. in Washington between Jan. 1, 2023, and Nov. 17, 2025, in which the job posting did not include a wage scale, salary range or general description of benefits may qualify to submit a claim to receive an estimated $1,193.35 from a class action settlement.

Axon Enterprise Inc. agreed to pay between $5.55 million and $8.50 million to settle a class action lawsuit alleging the company failed to disclose wage and benefit information in job postings as required by Washington law. The settlement includes approximately 5,467 class members.

Who can file a claim for a settlement payout?

Class members must meet the following criteria:

  • They applied for a job opening in the state of Washington with Axon between Jan. 1, 2023, and Nov. 17, 2025.
  • The job posting for that position did not disclose the wage scale or salary range.
  • The posting also did not provide a general description of benefits or other compensation offered.

How much is the class action payment?

Cash payment: Class members can submit a claim to receive a cash payment estimated at $1,193.35. The settlement administrator will determine the final payment amount, up to a maximum of $5,000, by the total number of valid claims filed.

How to claim a class action rebate

To receive a settlement payment, class members can file a claim online or mail or email the claim form included with their settlement notice to the settlement administrator.

Axon job posting settlement fund

The settlement fund will include the following:

  • Settlement administration costs: Not to exceed $50,000
  • Attorneys' fees and expenses: $2,125,296.25
  • Service award to the class representative: $25,000
  • Payments to approved claimants: Remaining settlement funds

When is the Axon job posting payout date?

The settlement administrator will mail payments to eligible class members approximately 44 days after the court grants final approval of the settlement.

Why did this class action settlement happen?

The class action lawsuit alleged that Axon Enterprise Inc. violated Washington’s Equal Pay and Opportunities Act by failing to include wage scales, salary ranges and benefit descriptions in job postings.

Axon denied any wrongdoing but agreed to settle to avoid the risk and expense of ongoing litigation and a possible trial.
