Individuals who received a notice stating the July 2024 data incident concerning Dove Healthcare Management Services LLC compromised their personal information may qualify to claim up to $3,000 and/or credit monitoring from a class action settlement.

Dove Healthcare Management Services LLC agreed to settle a class action lawsuit alleging it failed to protect private information during a data incident.

Who can file a claim?

Class members are individuals residing in the United States whose private information the March 2025 Dove Healthcare data incident may have been accessed during and who received a notification letter about the incident.

How much are settlement payments?

Class members can submit a claim for one of the following benefit options:

  • Cash Payment A - Documented losses and lost time: Class members may claim up to $3,000 for documented out-of-pocket losses related to the data incident. They must provide documentation to support the claim. In addition, class members who lost time addressing issues related to the incident can claim $20 per hour for up to three hours (maximum $60).
  • Cash Payment B - Alternate cash payment: Class members may claim an alternative cash payment estimated at $50. The settlement administrator may increase or decrease the amount depending on the number of valid claims submitted.

Additionally, all class members may elect to receive two years of one-bureau credit monitoring, which includes up to $1 million in identity theft insurance coverage, at no cost.

How to claim a data breach settlement payment

To receive a settlement payment, class members can file a claim online or print the PDF claim form to complete and mail to the settlement administrator.

Class members must submit claim forms online or postmark them by July 6, 2026.

Is proof or documentation required to submit a claim?

Class members must submit proof for cash payment A (documented losses and lost time). This can include receipts or bank statements.

Class members do not need to provide documentation to claim cash payment B (alternate cash payment) and/or credit monitoring beyond confirming eligibility and submitting the necessary claim form.

When is the Dove Healthcare data breach settlement payout date?

The settlement administrator will issue payments to approved claim members no later than 75 days after the court grants final approval to the settlement or 30 days after it becomes effective, whichever is later.

Why is there a class action settlement?

The class action lawsuit alleged Dove Healthcare Management Services failed to protect consumers' sensitive and private information in the July 2024 data incident.

Dove Healthcare denies any wrongdoing but agreed to settle to avoid the costs, risks and uncertainty of continued litigation.
