
Individuals who held an active account with a Dapper Labs website, which includes NFL All Day, Disney Pinnacle, UFC Strike, NBA Top Shot, or La Liga Golazos, at any time from June 15, 2020, through Jan. 30, 2025, may be eligible to submit a claim for up to $5 from a class action settlement.
Dapper Labs Inc. has agreed to pay $5 million to settle a class action lawsuit that alleged the company disclosed its online subscribers’ personally identifiable information (PII) to third parties without consent, in violation of the Video Privacy Protection Act (VPPA). The third-party companies Dapper shared user data with included Meta, Google, Microsoft, Snapchat, Reddit, X and TikTok.
Who can file a claim for a VPPA settlement payout?
Class members must meet the following criteria:
- They had an active account on any of the following Dapper Labs product websites:
- NFL All Day: www.nflallday.com
- Disney Pinnacle: www.disneypinnacle.com
- UFC Strike: www.ufcstrike.com
- NBA Top Shot: www.nbatopshot.com
- La Liga Golazos: www.laligagolazos.com
- Their account was active at any point between June 15, 2020, and Jan. 30, 2025.
How much is the settlement payment?
$5 cash payment: Class members can submit to receive a pro rata cash payment of up to $5. Final payment amount will be determined by the total number of claims filed.
How to claim a class action rebate
To receive a settlement payment, class members can file a claim online or print the PDF claim form to complete and mail to the settlement administrator.

$5 million VPPA settlement fund
The $5,000,000 settlement fund will include:
- Settlement administration costs: Not to exceed $150,000
- Attorneys' fees: Up to $1,666,666.67, minus final settlement administration costs
- Service awards to class representatives: Up to $5,000 each
- Payments to claimants: Remaining settlement funds

When is the Dapper Labs VPPA settlement payout date?
Payments will be issued to approved claimants approximately 75 days after the court grants final approval of the settlement.
Why did this class action settlement happen?
The class action lawsuit alleged that Dapper Labs Inc. violated the Video Privacy Protection Act by sharing its online subscribers’ personally identifiable information with third-party companies, such as Google and Meta, without consent. Dapper Labs denies the allegations but agreed to the settle in order to avoid the risk and expense of further litigation and a possible trial.
As part of the settlement, Dapper Labs has also agreed to suspend the use of certain tracking pixels on its websites where video titles could be captured.
