What Happened?

On Aug. 20, 2024, Universal Pure discovered suspicious activity within certain computer systems. The company took steps to secure its network and launched an investigation.

It was determined that unauthorized access occurred on separate occasions between July 10, 2024, and Aug. 20, 2024, during which files were taken from the network.

After a detailed review, Universal Pure identified the types of information that may have been exposed. The reported number of affected individuals includes 1,179 in Texas, 47 in Massachusetts, three in New Hampshire andone in Maine.
