Columbia Bank reported that an unauthorized third party gained access to certain bank applications between Oct. 2, 2025, and Dec. 22, 2025.

After discovering the incident, Columbia Bank secured its systems, began an internal investigation, notified law enforcement and engaged a forensic security firm to assist with the investigation.

On March 6, 2026, Columbia Bank completed its review and determined that the data accessed by the unauthorized party included sensitive personal information. The types of information exposed may include:
