Tessco Data Breach Exposes Sensitive Personal Information of Minors

Tessco LLC, a value-added distributor and solutions provider for the wireless infrastructure industry, has disclosed a data breach that involved the personal information of minors.

The company, also known as Tessco Technologies Inc., is headquartered in Hunt Valley, Maryland and supplies products and services for building and maintaining wireless networks.

The breach was reported to the Massachusetts Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation on Sept. 16, 2026.

The specific nature of the incident, the exact dates when the breach occurred and how it was discovered have not been publicly disclosed at this time.

The types of information exposed included Social Security numbers and financial account information.

Tessco's response to the breach

Tessco is offering affected minors 24 months of complimentary identity monitoring and restoration services through Experian IdentityWorks.

Parents and guardians can enroll their minor children by visiting the Experian IdentityWorks enrollment page and entering the unique activation code included in their notification letter. Enrollment must be completed by Dec. 31, 2026.
