LeMaitre Vascular Data Breach Exposes Social Security Numbers

LeMaitre Vascular Inc., a medical device company headquartered in Burlington, Massachusetts, has disclosed a data breach involving sensitive personal and medical information.

The breach was disclosed to the Massachusetts Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation, with 955 Massachusetts residents identified as affected. Consumer notification letters were sent out on Sept. 18, 2026.

The notification did not provide details about when the incident took place, when it was discovered or how long it may have lasted.

The types of information exposed included Social Security numbers, medical records and driver's licenses.

LeMaitre Vascular's response to the breach

LeMaitre Vascular is offering affected individuals 24 months of complimentary identity protection services through TransUnion.

Affected individuals must enroll by Dec. 18, 2026, to take advantage of these services. To enroll, they can visit the dedicated enrollment page or call Cyberscout, a TransUnion company, at 1-888-941-8669. Phone support is available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. EST, excluding major U.S. holidays.
