LRVNA Data Breach Exposes Sensitive Personal Information

Lakes Region Visiting Nurse Association, a nonprofit home health and hospice provider based in Meredith, New Hampshire, disclosed a data breach that may have affected the personal information of certain individuals.

LRVNA first identified suspicious activity within its email system on June 2, 2026.

After detecting suspicious activity within its email environment, LRVNA engaged external cybersecurity experts to conduct an investigation into the incident and determine whether any personal data may have been affected.

LRVNA then began a detailed review of the emails within the compromised account, which completed on Aug. 13, 2026.

The specific types of data potentially exposed as a result of the breach was not explicitly disclosed but included sensitive personal infromation. The notification letters being sent to impacted individuals are expected to contain more specific details about what types of information may have been involved for each person.

The organization posted a notice of the data security incident on its website.
