AVL Growth Partners Data Breach Exposes W-2 Information

AVL Growth Partners, an Ampleo company, disclosed a data breach affecting individuals whose personal information was held by the firm.

The company is a fractional finance and accounting firm headquartered in Boulder, Colorado, that provides financial guidance to client organizations.

In May 2026, the company identified suspicious activity related to an AVL Growth Partners email account. The company's investigation determined that an unauthorized party had access to the email account from March 26, 2026, to May 24, 2026.

A comprehensive review to identify what personal information was present in the compromised email account and to determine which individuals were affected was completed on July 22, 2026.

The types of personal information that may have been exposed include names, Social Security numbers, dates of birth, banking routing and account numbers, addresses, Paylocity usernames and work eligibility documents.

The breach has so far affected 205 Massachusetts residents and 4 New Hampshire residents. AVL Growth Partners began notifying affected consumers on or about Sept. 16, 2026.

AVL Growth Partners' response to the breach

AVL Growth Partners is offering affected individuals complimentary credit monitoring and identity restoration services through Epiq's Privacy Solutions ID program.

Affected individuals can enroll by visiting www.privacysolutionsid.com, clicking "Activate Account" and entering the activation code provided in their notification letter. After completing the enrollment form and identity verification, individuals will receive a confirmation email with a link to access their account.
