U.S. residents who received a notice stating their private information was compromised in the May 2024 data breach involving Walser Automotive Group LLC and Walser Holding Co. Inc. may qualify to claim up to $5,100 from a class action settlement.
Walser Automotive Group LLC agreed to settle a class action lawsuit alleging it did not protect customers' and employees' private information. The plaintiff claims this negligence allowed an unauthorized third party to access Walser's computer network in May 2024.
Who is eligible to file a Walser data breach claim?
Class members must meet the following criteria:
- They are a person in the United States whose private information was compromised during the Walser Automotive Group data breach on or about May 15, 2024.
- They received a notice from Walser by email or mail about the breach.
How much is the data breach payout?
- Flat Cash Payment: $100 available to all eligible class members.
- Documented Losses: Up to $5,000 for actual, unreimbursed losses related to the data breach.
How to claim a Walser class action rebate
To receive compensation, class members can file a claim online or download, print and complete a PDF claim form to mail to the settlement administrator. The claim deadline is Aug. 12, 2025.

When is the Walser data breach settlement payout date?
