Soliant Health $737,000 Job Posting Class Action Settlement

Employment seekers who applied for a job with Soliant Health LLC or Soliant Physician Staffing LLC in Washington state between Jan. 1, 2023, and May 26, 2026, may be eligible to claim up to $5,000 from a class action settlement.

Soliant Health and Soliant Physician Staffing agreed to pay between $496,550 and $737,000 to resolve a class action lawsuit alleging their job postings for Washington-based positions failed to include required wage scales, salary ranges or a general description of benefits or other compensation in violation of state law.

Who can file a claim?

Individuals must meet all of the following criteria:

• They submitted an application for employment for a job opening in the state of Washington with Soliant Health or Soliant Physician Staffing between Jan. 1, 2023, and May 26, 2026.
• They applied to a job posting published on one of the defendants’ websites or an authorized third-party recruiting platform between Jan. 1, 2023, and July 26, 2027.
• The job posting they responded to did not include a wage scale or salary range and/or a general description of benefits for the position.

How much is the Soliant Health payout?

The amount each class member receives depends on how many valid claims class members submit. The total settlement fund ranges from a minimum of $496,550 to a maximum of $737,000.

All participating class members who submit a valid claim will receive an equal share of the net settlement fund, which is the settlement fund minus attorneys’ fees, litigation expenses, a service award to the class representative and settlement administration costs.

• If 368 or fewer class members (50% or fewer of the 737 total) submit valid claims, the settlement administrator will distribute the minimum fund of $495,550 equally among claimants.
• For every additional participating class member above 368, Soliant Health will increase the value of the settlement fund by $652.51 up to the maximum settlement fund of $737,000.
• The minimum estimated payment is $652.51 but could be as high as $5,000 depending on the number of valid claims submitted.

The settlement administrator will classify these payments as nonwage damages and report them on IRS Form 1099.

How to claim a settlement payment

To claim a payment, class members can file a claim online or download and print the PDF claim form to complete and submit to the settlement administrator by mail or email.

Required proof

To file an online claim, class members will need to provide the unique ID and PIN located in the personalized notice they received.

Payout options

The settlement administrator will mail checks to the address class members provide on the claim form. Class members must cash their checks within 120 days of issuance.

Settlement fund breakdown

The settlement fund of of $496,550 to $737,000 will cover:

• Settlement administrator: Up to $15,000
• Attorneys' fees: $221,100
• Attorneys' expenses: $5,000
• Service award to class representative: $15,000
• Payments to eligible class members: The remainder of the fund

When is the Soliant Health settlement payout date?

The settlement administrator will distribute payments after the court resolves any appeals and grants final approval of the settlement.

Why did this class action settlement happen?

The class action lawsuit alleged Soliant Health and Soliant Physician Staffing failed to include required wage and benefit information in job postings for positions in Washington as required by state law (RCW 49.58.110).

The companies deny all allegations, but both sides agreed to settle to avoid the uncertainty and expense of ongoing litigation. The settlement is not an admission of liability or wrongdoing by the defendants.
