
Consumers who received two or more telemarketing text messages from Drips promoting QuoteWizard’s goods or services while their phone number was listed on the National Do Not Call Registry may be eligible to receive a payment of $76 from a class action settlement.
QuoteWizard.com LLC agreed to pay $19,000,000 to resolve a class action lawsuit alleging it sent telemarketing text messages without consent to individuals whose phone numbers were on the National Do Not Call Registry.
Who is eligible for a TCPA payout?
Class members must meet the following criteria:
- Their telephone number was listed on the National Do Not Call Registry for at least 30 days.
- They received two or more telemarketing text messages within any 12-month period from Drips promoting the sale of QuoteWizard’s goods or services.
- Their telephone number is one of the 66,746 numbers who received a total of 314,812 text messages on the class member list.
How much is the class action settlement payment?
Pro rata cash payment: Eligible class members will receive a minimum payment estimated at $76 plus additional payment of $38 per additional text message received beyond the first two. Final payment amount will be determined after fees, costs, expenses and awards are deducted from the settlement fund.
No claim form required
Class members are not required to submit a claim form in order to receive a payment.
Is any proof or information required to receive a payment?
No, the Settlement Administrator already has the information needed to identify class members. Class members should contact the settlement administrator with any address or contact information changes.

Class members will receive a paper check mailed to the address provided to QuoteWizard.
$19 million TCPA class action settlement fund
The $19,000,000 settlement fund will include:
- Settlement administration costs: To be determined
- Attorneys' fees: Up to $6,333,333
- Attorneys' expenses: Approximately $230,520.54
- Service award to class representative: Up to $100,000
- Payments to class members: Remaining settlement funds

When is the QuoteWizard TCPA settlement payout date?
Eligible class members will receive two payments. The settlement will be funded by QuoteWizard in two parts.
The first estimated funding dates are Oct. 22, 2025, and April 22, 2026. Payments will be issued approximately 21 days after each funding date.
Why did this class action lawsuit and settlement happen?
The class action lawsuit alleged that QuoteWizard sent telemarketing text messages to individuals whose phone numbers were on the National Do Not Call Registry, in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.
QuoteWizard denied all allegations but agreed to settle the lawsuit to avoid the risks, expense and delays associated with continued litigation and the possibility of a trial.
