
Consumers who received one or more text messages promoting Pierre Ford of Prosser LLC’s products or services at a phone number assigned to or used by a Washington resident between June 1, 2020, and the date the court gives preliminary approval may qualify to claim a $29 voucher or a $10 cash payment from a class action settlement.
Ford of Prosser LLC and Bill Pierre Ford Inc. agreed to pay $400,000 to settle a class action lawsuit alleging it sent unsolicited text messages to Washington residents in violation of state law.
Who is eligible for a Ford of Prosser payment?
Class must meet the following criteria:
- They received one or more text messages promoting Pierre Ford of Prosser LLC’s products or services.
- The text message was sent to a telephone number assigned to or used by a Washington resident.
- The message was sent between June 1, 2020, and the date the court gives preliminary approval to the settlement.
Both individuals and businesses who meet these criteria are included. If class members received a notice about this settlement by email or postcard, the defendants’ records indicate they may be a class member.
How much is the Bill Pierre Ford payout?
- Voucher option: Eligible class members who do nothing will receive a $29 voucher redeemable for services at Pierre Ford of Prosser LLC. The voucher is valid for a single use and cannot be combined with other offers or used for past services. It expires at the close of business on Dec. 31, 2025.
- Cash option: Alternatively, class members may choose to receive a $10 cash payment instead of the voucher by submitting a valid claim form by the deadline.
How to claim a class action payment
Class members do not need to take any action to receive the $29 voucher; it will be sent automatically to those who received notice.
Class members who prefer a $10 cash payment instead of the voucher must submit a claim form. They can file a claim online or download the PDF claim form at the same link to print, complete and mail to the settlement administrator. The claim deadline is Aug. 1, 2025.

Proof and information required
All class members must provide the notice ID printed on the settlement notice they received. Online claimants must also provide the PIN from the same notice. Those who are unable to locate their notice ID and PIN should contact the settlement administrator at 833-360-6870.
To claim the $10 cash payment, class members must provide at least one cellular telephone number that received the text message.

When is the Okami v. Bill Pierre Ford Inc. payout date?
