Ott Cone & Redpath PA has agreed to pay $600,000 to settle a class action lawsuit that was filed after cybercriminals gained unauthorized access to its network in June 2024. The breach potentially exposed the personal and protected health information of approximately 34,457 people.
Who is eligible for a data breach payout?
Class members are individuals who received a notification from Ott Cone & Redpath PA regarding the June 2024 data breach, informing them that their personal and protected data may have been compromised.
How much is the class action settlement payment?
Class members can submit to receive one or more of the following benefits:
- Expense reimbursement: Claimants may submit to receive up to $2,500 for documented, unreimbursed out-of-pocket losses resulting from the data breach. Eligible expenses includes fees to obtain credit reports and freezing or unfreezing, card replacement fees, late or over-limit fees, bank or credit card fees and the cost for up to one year of credit monitoring or identity theft insurance purchased after June 3, 2024 and before the settlement effective date.
- Alternative cash payment: Class members that do not submit for expense reimbursement can submit to receive a cash payment of up to $50. Final payment amount will be determined by the number of claims filed.
- Credit monitoring: All class members can elect to receive three years of one-bureau credit monitoring services.
How to claim a class action rebate
To receive a settlement payment, a claim form must be submitted by the deadline of Dec. 10, 2025. Class members can file a claim online or print a PDF claim form to mail to the settlement administrator.

When is the McKoy v. Ott Cone & Redpath PA payout date?
