Consumers who purchased tickets online for Moodswings shows in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Maryland, New York or Tennessee during specific periods may be eligible to claim a cash payment or discount code from a class action settlement.
Moodswings LLC agreed to pay to settle a class action lawsuit alleging the company failed to disclose service charges for online ticket purchases in several states.
Who can file a claim for a payout?
Class members are individuals who purchased tickets to a Moodswings show through one of the following websites during a qualifying state-specific timeframe:
- tickets.mesmerica.com
- tickets.beautifica.show
- tickets.changeworlds.org
- ticketshop.mesmerica.com
Eligibility depends on the state where the tickets were purchased and the date of purchase:
- California: July 1, 2024, to June 20, 2025
- Colorado: Aug. 7, 2024, to Aug. 31, 2025
- Connecticut: Oct. 1, 2023, to Aug. 31, 2025
- Maryland: July 1, 2024, to June 20, 2025
- New York: Aug. 29, 2022, to June 20, 2025
- Tennessee: July 1, 2023, to Aug. 26, 2025
Consumers who bought tickets in more than one state or during multiple periods may be eligible for multiple claims, depending on the number of tickets and the state-specific class definitions.
How much can class members get?
- Cash payment: Class members who submit an approved claim will receive a cash payment for each ticket purchased during the class period. The payment amount varies by state:
- California: $3.37 per ticket
- Colorado: $2.54 per ticket
- Connecticut: $2.65 per ticket
- Maryland: $3.48 per ticket
- New York: $7.12 per ticket
- Tennessee: $3.70 per ticket
- Discount code: Class members who do not submit a claim will receive a discount code for a 25% discount on a future ticket purchase. The code can be used for up to four tickets or the number of tickets purchased during the qualifying period, whichever is greater.
How to claim a settlement payment
To receive a cash payment, class members can file a claim online or print the PDF claim form to complete and mail to the settlement administrator.

Eligible class members who do not submit a claim form will automatically receive a discount code for a 25% discount on a future ticket purchase by email.

Why did this class action settlement happen?
The class action lawsuit alleged Moodswings failed to disclose service charges for online ticket purchases to its shows in several states. Plaintiffs claimed this violated consumer protection laws in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Maryland, New York and Tennessee.
Moodswings denied any wrongdoing but agreed to settle to avoid the uncertainty and expense of further litigation.
